This area is an ideal location for large groups, weddings, receptions, reunions, and large gatherings.
The trailhead for hikers begins at the Tubac Presidio for a four-mile section of the Anza Trail which leads to Tumacácori National Historical Park and crosses the Santa Cruz River. The route to Tumacácori National Historic Park is a straight four-mile trail making for an eight-mile round trip. There is also a nearby northern two and one-half mile route of the Anza Trail.
